What animals eat groundhogs?

Groundhog belongs to the squirrel family, and they also known as a woodchuck. You may find them in the northeast and central parts of North America. 

They lived in an open habitat like a forest; farm and you may also find them in the house too. They produce quickly, so they have the power to destroy a file, this is the reason they remain on the target by the hunts. 

Groundhog body is covered with a grayish fur. They have small ears but strong jaws. They have short legs that help them to run fast. 

The size of Groundhog varies from 16 to 26 inches while the weight ranges from 4 to 9 pounds. They usually like to stay active in the early morning or during early noon. 

They are considered excellent swimmers and climbers. They like to eat a small insect, and they also eat grass, crops, nuts, and sometimes they eat leaves sometimes to get food and some time to fulfill the water deficiency.
